Where to find your NISS and your Social Security Direct password (Segurança Social Direta)
To submit your declaration in FIZ, you need your NISS and your Segurança Social Direta password. Depending on your situation, you can view them, recover them, or create them.
To submit your declaration through FIZ, you must enter your Social Security Identification Number (NISS) and the password for the Segurança Social Direta portal.
What is the NISS and where can I find it?
The NISS (Número de Identificação da Segurança Social) is your personal Social Security number in Portugal. You can find your NISS:

On official Social Security documents (letters, notifications);

In your profile area on Segurança Social Direta.
Where can I find my password?
The password is used to access your Social Security account.
