In October 2024, the FIZ platform introduced two significant updates designed to simplify accounting and administrative processes for companies, self-employed workers (TI), and sole proprietors (ENI): withholding tax and a new invoice filter.
Withholding Tax
With the introduction of the withholding tax feature, users can specify the tax withholding percentage for any "service" item when creating invoices. This feature helps prevent errors and automates the tax calculation process, simplifying accounting and ensuring compliance with tax legislation requirements.
Invoice Filter
The new filter allows users to quickly find and view invoices based on various criteria, such as period and payment status. After selecting the period, the invoice status blocks — Unpaid and Paid — automatically display the total amounts for all invoices in the selected period: Subtotal and Total VAT. By clicking on a status block, users can access all invoices for the period with the corresponding status. This update makes data management more efficient, simplifies access to necessary information, and speeds up the processing of financial documentation.
Multiple Profiles
Now, FIZ users can add multiple profiles for invoice issuance, whether for a company, self-employed worker (TI), or sole proprietor (ENI). This update allows users to easily and quickly switch between profiles at any time, making the invoicing process even more flexible and convenient.
New Print Format
FIZ introduced an updated format for printing invoices in PDF, making them clearer, easier to read, and optimized for quick printing. Key changes include: the company, TI, or ENI logo is now positioned on a white background, giving the document a cleaner and more professional appearance; the IBAN of the company, TI, or ENI account has been moved to the bottom of the page, just below the total amount, making it easier to access banking details for convenient payment.
It is now possible to add notes to any invoice, which are displayed immediately after all the items on the invoice, allowing users to specify details, add conditions, or provide additional information to clients.
These updates make FIZ an even more practical and functional tool for businesses, helping users save time on administrative tasks and focus on growing their business.
